Coming from the Bay, I'm super high brow with sushi. This place is amazing! Fresh ingredients, tons of delicious options. Love their tempura shrimp anything and cucumber salad! A must go to if you are craving sushi. Was even delicious with DoorDash delivery. Next time I'm in Pasadena, this place is a must!

Incredible food and the service was awesome. The environment in the back is cool but a bit dark though there are plenty of candles which creates an interesting environment. The servers are all super on top of it.

Have amazing rolls here. Sushi is always fresh. They had a long wait for a table. We could've gone somewhere else but we knew the wait was worth it. Our server Daniel is excellent and hooks us up!

The best Sushi house ever! Their yellow tail is amazing! Everything on their menu is good. Love the Studio City location. But the Brentwood is an awesome spot too.

Haven't been in a while and was due for this revisit Excellent sushi and service. I miss the ribs from the robata bar that had the bones in them, but,alas, they're off the menu. Other than that, the atmosphere remains warm but trendy, and many customers are the latter and sometimes the former. Sushi recipes can be both traditional and inventive, there's a full bar, and all the above have once again reeled me in, I took the bait, and the sushi is far from a raw deal.

This seafood spot is fantastic. I have been going here for 25 years and the service and the food has always been just excellent! This spot is small with only a few tables and seats- we waited one hour last night, but were happy to do so. The bucket of clams was outstanding as was my Argentine Shrimp plate. Can't wait to be back !

I loved everything about this place except for how loud it was. They have little alcoves that help to reduce the noise but it still echos a bit around the main space. I would highly reccomend one of the set courses they really give you a good taste of the menu and truly everything is fantastic. I got the katsuya classics and got to say it's hard to have a favorite. The waiter also helped me to pick out a nice drink the spicy mandarin which I really wish I knew how to make at home. This is definitely one of the top tiers in Brentwood.

Excellent food. The taste was spot on for every dish. The atmosphere is professional and inviting. The service is friendly and intelligent. If you're a tall person, the table are set a bit low. Otherwise, spot on with the food and atmosphere.

I am a long time customer here.The best place to get high quality sushi.A bit pricey but the quality is top notch.ALL FRESH! not frozen.Japanese owner.Be aware that there will be a long line to be seated I recommend calling ahead of time for a reservation or call to ask the wait time.

The food here tonight was excellent. The miso black cod was unreal, the mushrooms and spicy tuna crispy rice was exceptionally done well. I really enjoyed how everything I ate here had a burst of explosion in terms of the flavor.Was feeling unsure here of what to order, and the server Casey recommended all of my favorite items of the night. She really took care of the table and brought everything in a quick turnaround. I highly recommend asking her to be your server as she easily made the experience here worth it.

Soooo fresh! Always wondered why you see so many people outside all the time waiting/ well now we know. The food is super fresh ! Only bad i can say is the sushi rolls were on the bigger size so kinda hard to one bite them lol but nonetheless we enjoyed it. And they serve Micheladas lol! Gotta go back and try more on the menu.

Awesome all around. Crazy busy. Didn't have reservations so waited with a pile of other people and had an amazing meal. A fun place if you are not an LA native. I really enjoyed waiting in line and talking to people about how good this place was going to be. Not like the more sedate upscale places Los Angeles, CA, but one of the best fast placed sushi experiences I have ever had.

Not a bad place. Beautiful people everywhere! Food is very tasty and staff are friendly, just not very present. I had recieved and finished my meal before my partners meal was brought out. Also found myself asking a different member of staff for refills as our waitress was rarely around.Seems to be a hugely popular place and the food is good from what I've tried. Just not quite as tightly run as I'd have expected.

BEST sushi EVER. Be ready to wait if you come during dinner or lunch time. It's worth it. EXCELLENT service and top quality. This is what you call an authentic sushi house.
